Longcourse Cattery was purpose built in 2017 and complies with the current Higher Standard Cat Boarding regulations. Our accommodation is secure, heated and comfortable for your cat’s stay with us. Our Cattery has full CCTV coverage for your peace of mind while you’re away.

Longcourse Cattery offers a tranquil and quiet atmosphere for your cat to enjoy. Each guest room has a cosy interior with heating for the cooler nights and a safe ‘outer’ area for your cat to enjoy fresh air through our secure windows and enjoy the views of their surroundings. Every Room has a cosy ‘den’ area for your cat to make themselves at home. You are welcome to bring along anything your cat needs, like beds, blankets and cushions, but don’t worry if you forget as we have plenty of freshly laundered items on hand. Your cats comfort is essential for their holiday with us!

Cats holidaying with us will be fed according to your request, however this will be at least twice a day, and more often for kittens and cats with special dietary requirements or feeding regimes. Your cat will have a constant supply of fresh drinking water and will be given treats if allowed (all in moderation of course!). We are happy to supply food and this is included in the cost of the room, or you can supply your own food if your cat has a special diet to follow. We know how varied cats diets can be! We have a varied menu for our guests including Whiskas, Felix and Sheba. We are also well experienced in giving medication, so this is never an issue. Please let us know of any specific requirements when you complete your booking form.

We’d like to know your cat as well as possible before their stay with us, so let us know on your booking form what their likes and dislikes are. Cats are varied, some loving fuss, and some keeping themselves to themselves. We want to make sure your cat has contact throughout the day. Some enjoy being groomed, being talked to, or maybe someone just sitting with them. We keep records of all guests, so if your cat returns we will know all about their habits and what makes their stay the most enjoyable.

My cats have just stayed with Longcourse for 12 days, they had the best time. I’ve never used a cattery before so i was quite apprehensive about leaving them but the team made me feel so safe and reassured. I visited before their stay and was given a full tour, all my questions answered and no pressure to book.
I wanted them to have their own litter trays, food, crates and bowls which they said was fine. There is plenty of room in there for them to be able to sleep/ eat / play which I loved.
They have come home so happy, as if they were never away. Everything was kept so nice and clean for them during their stay, Sarah sent me photos of them while i was gone and i honestly couldn’t recommend Longcourse enough! My cats are 5 & 3, they will definitely be returning on my next holiday.
It took such a weight off my mind knowing they were safe and cared for so I could switch off and enjoy myself
